How to Apply

Students are accepted into the program as Juniors, and agree to continue within the program until graduation. As a "school within a school", the TBI provides each student a faculty member as an advisor to assist in creating a program emphasis meeting their particular interests or career goals.

The application process consists of two parts:

1.  An evaluation of the student, based upon science and   math scores, SAT-9 scores, recommendations of their science and math teachers.

2.  A written application, which consists of: a three-page form to be filled out, a one to two page essay to be written by the student, and a letter to be written by the parent/guardian.
