State FFA Secretary - Sierra Bryant - Congratulations!

Sierra Bryant.jpgTempleton FFA member Sierra Bryant was recently elected as the California FFA Association State FFA Secretary during the 86th Annual State FFA Leadership Conference in Fresno, CA. Sierra is the first State FFA Officer to ever be elected from the Templeton FFA Chapter.

Sierra will postpone her first year of college in order to spend the upcoming year representing over 70,000 California FFA members in this prestigious leadership position.  She will attend National leadership conferences as well as facilitate FFA conferences and activities throughout the state of California.  Her responsibilities will include making visits to FFA chapters in California, attending agriculture industry functions, as well as advocating for agriculture and the FFA to various industry and political leaders in our state. Sierra is a senior at Templeton High School currently serving as the Chapter Secretary.  She is a member of the livestock judging team and a prepared public speaking participant who finished in the top 8 in the state during this year’s state finals competition.

The selection procedure for California State FFA Officers is an intense process based off of a written application, FFA knowledge examination, essay responses, and three days of personal interviews with the official State FFA Nominating Committee.  From a candidate pool of 65 individuals, Sierra was slated on the election ballot of 12 individuals.  Sierra gave a campaign speech in front of approximately 5,000 FFA members, advisors, and special guests before the official delegates from each FFA chapter in the state voted for candidates for each of the 6 offices.  “I am extremely humbled by this opportunity and look forward to serving the California FFA members in the upcoming year.  Agriculture is my passion and being able to advocate for this essential industry through servant leadership is truly an exciting experience for me,” says Sierra.

The Parent Portal is OPEN!

Welcome THS Parents and Guardians!

You may track grades, attendance and list of assignments. When you visit the website you will be asked for your username and password.  If you are a returning parent/student your username and password will remain the same as last year, with the exception of students entering 9th grade.  If your student transferred from TMS you will just replace the TMS with THS in the username. Keep your username and password secure.  Your student has also been given their own username and password.

Parents new to this district may pick up the password information in the Main Office at Back-to-School night.
