15-16 THS Registration Handbook - NOW AVAILABLE!!
Dear Parents and Students:
In this registration booklet you will find the information you need to plan your classes for the 2015-16 school year. Please carefully review the graduation requirements, college admission requirements, and other information in this booklet to ensure that the classes you select will assist you in attaining you future goals. Select classes that help you meet your educational and career goals but also challenge your abilities and fulfill your interests. Every student will be assigned a Tutorial class. Tutorial offers the opportunity to receive academic tutoring, complete make-up work, and study with peers or a staff member.
Review all class offerings before making your final selections. Some courses require prerequisites. Be sure your selections fulfill graduation requirements. It is important that the school and families work closely to help with these decisions to both properly challenge our students academically and provide a clear plan toward their future.
Research selections and be sure of your choices. Unlike years past, budget issues have reduced our available sections. This means that students will not be allowed to transfer unless there is space available and space will be very limited due to larger class sizes. Students need to be prepared to stay in their classes they select.
If you have any questions about registration for next year please call the counseling office at 434-5893. We are always happy to help.
**Registration forms will be given to students the week of March 30.

PowerSchool Parent Portal; plus E-mail guide included
The Parent Portal will be closing June 12, 2015!
Welcome THS Parents and Guardians!
You may track grades, attendance and list of assignments. When you visit the website you will be asked for your username and password. If you are a returning parent/student your username and password will remain the same as last year, with the exception of students entering 9th grade. If your student transferred from TMS you will just replace the TMS with THS in the username. Keep your username and password secure. Your student has also been given their own username and password.
Parents new to this district may pick up the password information in the Main Office at Back-to-School night.
E-mail: each year parents/guardians need to re-select which type of reporting to receive and how often. Here is a guideline for re-setting your preferences:
